LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The website Do502 used social media to organize a snowball fight on the Waterfront Tuesday, hoping to inject a little fun into the snow and ice.

Many businesses and school districts remained closed Tuesday after a snowstorm dropped over eight inches of snow on the city Monday.

Not to let the weather spoil a good time, the events blog invited the city out for a little fun on the Big Four Lawn via Twitter and Facebook Tuesday afternoon.

The event kicked off at four p.m., with battlers divided into two teams. One team, The Muhammad "Ball"-i's were asked to wear red, while members of the second team, the Bonnie Prince "Bullies" were asked to wear "your bluest of blues."

"Let's show LOUISVILLE that you can brave the elements even though the city is shutting down!" Do502 pledged.

SnowFox turned out to the event and -- for some reason -- attendees ganged up on him. You can see the photos in the slideshow above.
