LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metrosafe dispatchers say the Lyndon Fire Department successfully rescued two adults and one dog from a partially frozen pond Tuesday evening.

It happened shortly before 5 p.m. at a pond near the intersection of Ormsby Lane and New La Grange Road.

Dispatchers say a call came in earlier today from two adults reporting that a dog had fallen through the ice and into the water. A short time later, dispatchers say they received a report that two adults were in the water.

All of them were rescued a short time later, according to dispatchers.
