LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Floyd County has 86 reason why it hopes wait times won't be an issue during the next election.

In November, our cameras caught lines of people waiting hours to cast a ballot.

On Wednesday night, the Floyd County council approved buying 86 new touch screen machines, along with more scanners and laptops. Floyd County Clerk Christy Eurton says it all costs more than $400,000, but the county will pay over five years.
