LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Two more Louisville City FC signings have been cleared by the US Soccer Federation. Enrique Montano and Tarek Morad have been training with the team this week and on Thursday, the club officially announced their presence.

Morad joins Louisville City from the Oklahoma City Energy, where the defender signed in 2014 after going undrafted in the MLS SuperDraft. He made 13 appearances for the first year club.

The UC Irvine product began his college career at Mt. San Antonio before transferring to play for the anteaters.

"Tarek has great ball control and physicality,” head coach James O'Connor said. “He has the kind of leadership qualities that we're looking for to be one of the leaders on our team.”

Enrique Montano played college soccer with the San Jose State Spartans and Louisville City is hopeful he will develop into an asset for the club.

"We see so much potential in what Enrique will be able to bring to our club,” O'Connor said. “He's another player we are happy to have signed and know he will play a huge role in our success."

The 22-year-old started 16 games for SJSU as a holding midfielder as a senior, he notched one goal and two assists.

The California native led the team in shots with 30 attempts as a junior.
