LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- National City Tower, one of Louisville's biggest downtown office buildings, was sold for $127.25 million on Feb. 13 to a company called DB Bourbon LLC, which appears to be an affiliate of New York-based Fortress Investment Group, according to a deed on file with the Jefferson County Clerk's office.

The seller, KBSII National City Tower LLC, is an affiliate of KBS Real Estate Investment Trust II, according to the deed.

DB Bourbon has the same New York City address as Fortress, and the deed says that property tax bills should be addressed to the Fortress Credit Corp. at that address.

The deed was signed by Scott Silvers, who according to LinkedIn is a managing director of Fortress Investment Group.

KBS Capital Markets Group is based in Newport Beach, Calif.

The KBS group bought National City Tower for $115 million in 2010, according to PVA records.
