LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A week after the Hillview Police Chief is found guilty of lying to the FBI, he is no longer with the police department.

In a press release on Friday from the Hillview Police Department, officials say Glenn Caple is no longer employed by the city.

Authorities say the changes were effective on February 14th, 2015.

The FBI said Caple lied to them about having a meth lab moved from the Hillview Mayor's backyard

He was found guilty last Friday by a jury.

Caple could face up to five years in prison.

His sentencing date is set for May.

Major Kenneth Straughn will run the department until a new Chief is appointed.
