LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jefferson County Public Schools will return to its normal schedule on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015.

Michael Raisor, chief operations officer for JCPS, told WDRB News "very few problems" were reported during the district's two-hour delay on Monday.

"We have every intention of running on a normal schedule on Tuesday," Raisor said. "All of our bus drivers used the extra time this morning to run their routes and identify any trouble spots. We feel confident that we can return to a regular operating schedule."

Raisor said district officials will continue to monitor road conditions as the snow and ice will continue to melt.

"We will also continue working with city officials to make sure roads are salted," he said.

If there are any changes, the district will notify local media and parents, Raisor said.
