LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jefferson County School Board is set to vote on a new contract for Superintendent Donna Hargens at a meeting Monday night at Central High School.

Board chair David Jones said there is no question the board wants to continue with superintendent Donna Hargens, whose performance review they completed in January.

Jones added there is no reason to delay a vote on the matter as they have other topics to discuss and delaying it would push the vote back two to three weeks.

Board member Linda Duncan said she would like to delay the vote in order to hear from the principals and administrators she supervises.

Hargens says she does not want a pay raise and would like the board to remove allowances for her home like internet, a printer and printer ink from her contract.

The vote remains on the board's agenda for tonight's meeting.
