SHERIFF: One person injured after train, vehicle collide in Henry Co., Ky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- At least one person was injured Monday afternoon when a train and a vehicle collided in Henry County, Kentucky, according to the Henry County Sheriff.

Sheriff Danny Cravens said it happened shortly after four p.m. on Hwy. 146, near the intersection with Hwy. 153. The accident is near the line between Henry County and Oldham County.

He said at least one person was injured and that person is expected to be flown to an area hospital via a medical chopper. The extent of that person's injuries is not known.

Kentucky State Police is the lead agency responding to the accident, while the Henry County Sheriff's Office is assisting, according to Cravens.
