LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Those who deal with cancer have a very difficult journey.

That's why survivors were honored Saturday as part of the Pearls and Pumps Fashion Show.

It's the fourth year for the event.

All money raised goes to the Cancer Care Program at Baptist Health.

It helps connect people with services making treatment easier for patients and their families.

"I felt so pleased by the care that baptist did for me, and they did just such a wonderful job," cancer survivor Susan Allen said. "I just need to promote that that is a wonderful hospital in our community, and it's right in our backdoor."

The event included a style show to kick off Derby season.

Organizers also held a brunch and had several door and raffle prizes.
