LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing numerous charges after allegedly firing multiple shots into a residence in January.

According to the arrest warrant, it happened January 7. That's when police say George R. Black III followed the mother of his two children home after appearing with her in Family Court.

The warrant states that the woman (identified as victim 1) was unaware she had been followed, and was getting ready for work when Black entered her residence through an unlocked door and began punching a man (identified as victim 2) inside. That man ran from the home after Black left the residence.

Police say Black returned, then left again. That's when victim 1 locked the front door. After the door was locked, police say Black kicked it in and again entered the residence.

Police say Black eventually left the scene in a black vehicle.

Meanwhile, police say the woman called her son (identified as victim 3), and as he was entering the house Black returned to the residence, followed him in, pointed a gun at him and stated "you are going to die."

That's when the woman called another person (identified as a witness), who spoke with Black on the phone and begged him not to kill the woman's son.

At some point, Black lost his phone and began arguing with the woman and her son about the phone. The argument awoke another person (identified as victim 4). That's when police say Black got back into his vehicle, pulled out his gun and "proceeded to fire multiple shots from his car window" before taking off.

That's when police were called. Officers responding to the scene "observed at least nine bullet holes on the exterior of the building next door. When they entered the building, they found several bullet holes inside. Police say the bullets penetrated victim 4's walls and hit furniture inside. The estimated damage to the property was in excess of $1,000.

Black was arrested on March 7. He's charged with burglary, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, terroristic threatening, and criminal trespassing.

Black remains jailed at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $25,000 cash bond.
