Indiana boys basketball team has lost every game this season

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - An Indiana boys basketball team hasn't won a game all season.

The Blackford High School team current record is 0 and 23.

However, the team is managing to keep a positive attitude.

It might have something to do with the community's response.

People in the small town of just over 500 people are rallying behind the players.

Several signs have been placed outside of local businesses.

"Our county is having a rough time now. Jobs leaving and that kind of stuff. People losing their homes. What does it hurt to get behind our school? Encourage your kids. Show them that we are here no matter what happens. If you win or lose, we are still going to be out there," said team supporter Dendi Wither.

"We've just been so supportive of each other. Nobody's given up on anybody. As trying as this year has been, everybody that was here at the beginning of the year is here now," said basketball player Joel Sharp.

The team's coach says the losing record and the support for the team has taught the students a valuable life lesson.
