LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a former assistant football coach and security guard after a 14-year-old claimed she had sex with him in the medical building of Moore High School years ago.

According to an arrest report, Victorino Vasquez, now 40-years-old, was taken into custody Monday night. Police say the teenager claimed she had consensual sex with Vasquez "in the basement of the medical building at Moore High School" when Vasquez was 38. A Louisville Metro Police spokeswoman says the student came forward with the allegation in Nov. 2012.

Moore Traditional High School is located near the intersection of Outer Loop and Smyrna Road in southern Jefferson County.

According to the arrest citation, Vasquez was an assistant football coach and the security guard at Moore High School at the time.

A JCPS spokesperson says Vasquez worked as a security officer with the district off-and-on for various stints between Aug. 1996 to Nov. 2012. He resigned in Nov. 2012, after an allegation of "inappropriate contact with a student" was made. Police say that allegation was related to this incident.

Police say they arrested Vasquez at his home without incident Monday evening. He is charged with third degree rape.
