LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- At least two men are facing several charges, including kidnapping, after two women told police they were abducted at gunpoint.

According to the arrest report, it happened in the early morning hours of March 17. That's when officers in the Fourth Division responded to a call of a possible kidnapping at the Bellamy Apartments near West Hill Street. Officers were sent to Shawnee Park where the victims had been dropped off.

The victims told police that 4 to 6 suspects armed with guns approached them in the parking garage of the Bellamy Apartments near S. 7th Street. One victim told officers her vehicle had been stolen at gunpoint before the suspects forced them into a blue van. The victims told police the suspects put guns to their heads and demanded their belongings.

According to the arrest report, the women called police after being dropped off at Shawnee Park. First Division officers located the suspects in a van in the area of 2400 block of Shawnee. Police say three suspects ran from the van, but officers caught up with them a short time later in the 2400 block of Magazine Street.

Police say they found a stolen handgun inside the van.

Police arrested 18-year-old Cesar Perez, who allegedly had a cell phone belonging to one of the victims; 18-year-old Jesse Yarbrough; and a third suspect.

Both Perez and Yarbrough are charged with kidnapping, robbery and theft by unlawful taking. They remain jailed on a $50,000 cash bond. Information about the third suspect is not immediately available.
