LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Japanese auto supplier plans to locate a facility in Bardstown, Kentucky, bringing 43 new, full-time jobs to the area, according to a news release from Gov. Steve Beshear's office.

Itsuwa plans to invest $5.2 million into the Commonwealth when it launches the operation, which will be called Itsuwa Kentucky. According to the news release, the company recently purchased 16 acres in the Wilson Industrial Park, and plans to build a 32,000 square foot coating and painting facility. It is expected to be operational early in 2016.

It will be the company's second U.S. location and its first in Kentucky.

"We are very excited to welcome Itsuwa to Kentucky," Gov. Beshear stated in the release. "The fact that international companies continue to locate to the Commonwealth shows that we're a powerful contributor to the global economy. I want to thank Itsuwa for investing in the state and look forward to the company's ongoing success."
