LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A third teen has died after a collision with a train on Saturday.

Two teens were killed in the crash and two were hospitalized. Now one of the two hospitalized teens has died, according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.

The Coroner's Office says Nagin Thapa died Thursday evening of a traumatic brain injury after Saturday's crash involving a car and a train in Buechel.

Sixteen-year-old Chita Chuwan and 19-year-old Suk Man Rai died in the crash at the Beuchel and Crawford Avenues crossing on March 14. Kismat Mishra and Thapa were hospitalized with brain injuries, according to a family friend.

The four teens were driving over the railroad crossing when their car collided with an oncoming train.

A family spokesperson said Tuesday 18-year-old Mishra, a student at Waggener, appeared to be on the road to recovery. He was responding to pain and has even given a 'thumbs up' when prompted.

The spokesperson also said then that Thapa had not been responding.

Note: Thapa had previously been identified as Nabin Thapa, though the Coroner's office has said his name is Nagin Thapa.
