LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three teens who died as a result of a train vs. car collision on March 14 were remembered by friends and family Saturday afternoon.

"It's my friend and I hope that one day when I'm gone, I'll meet him again," said Sumn Rie, a friend of one of the victims.

The three JCPS students died after the crash at a Buechel railroad crossing earlier this month. One is still hospitalized.

"These young men were not only youth," said Adrienne Eisenmerger with Kentucky Refugee Ministries. "They were brothers and sons and uncles and scholars. But they were also residents of Louisville."

JCPS superintendent Dr. Donna Hargens was also present as all four were students at JCPS schools.

Suk Man Rai, 19; Chita Chuwan, 16; and Nagin Thapa, 17, died from their injuries.

A fourth teen, Kismat Mishra, is still hospitalized and listed in stable condition.

But friends say he has responded to treatment so far. A memorial soccer tournament is being scheduled for next March to honor the three teenagers. Friends say they were all avid in the soccer community.

"I really miss them because whenver they come we could play soccer," Rei said.

"But right now, he's no more."
