LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Clarksville firefighter has been found not guilty of animal cruelty and intimidation.

Gary Crowe, Jr. was arrested last fall after he shot a dog.

Police say Crowe got into an apparent fight involving a man renting land from him.

The dog was shot, but the dog tag deflected the bullet, saving his life.

Crowe pleaded not guilty.

Last week, a jury sided with him, and he was cleared.
