Louisville sculptor handcrafts trophies for Keeneland race
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – A local artist has crafted some special trophies for an April 10 race at Keeneland this year.
Louisville Sculptor Rowland Jones was commissioned to make trophies for the Maker's 46 Mile. Jones handcrafted the bronze trophies, which feature race horses and a Maker's 46 bottle.
The artist created two trophies, one will be presented to the winner and another will be displayed at Keeneland.
