LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer will present President Obama with a custom-made Louisville Slugger baseball bat when the President visits the city Thursday afternoon,
.

The mayor's office posted an image of the bat on Twitter. The bat is black, bears the Louisville Slugger logo, along with the Presidential seal and the words, "With appreciation from the citizens of Louisville to America's Greatest Slugger. April 2, 2015, Mayor Greg Fischer."

President Obama is expected to visit Indatus, a local tech company that deals with collection, storage and analytics of data.

"[It's] Great news obviously...anytime the President of the United States visits your city, it puts the international spotlight on us," Fischer said, earlier this week. "We'll be talking about our changing economy and the way that we have responded very aggressively to the economic development clusters. The White House has been watching that and holds us out for a model for the country in that area."
