KY-22 shut down at Goose Creek after severe damage from culvert washout

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- KY-22 has been shut down at Goose Creek, near Springcrest Drive, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, after the roadway was severely damaged from a culvert washout.

The damage can be seen in the images at right, provided by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet - District 5.

The cabinet suggests a detour from KY 22 to Goose Creek Road, to Westport Road, to Herr Lane, and then back to KY 22.

Several road were closed on Friday due to overnight flooding.
