REPORT: Indiana State Police arrest convicted sex offender in home with drugs and a 5-year-old

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police say they found a convicted sex offender living in a home with drugs and a 5-year-old.

According to a news release, 41-year-old James Walton was being investigated on possible drug charges and for not registering properly as a sex offender.

Police say he was living in a home on S. Pixley Knob Road in eastern Washington County with 31-year-old Jonathan Hayes and 25-year-old Eva Campbell.

Inside, investigators say they found meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Campbell's child was also in the home, according to the release.

All three were arrested and face several charges.
