LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A New Albany staple known for its homemade ice cream is back in business.

Mom and Pop's Cone Corner opened Saturday on Graybrook Lane.

The previous owners shut down in September and didn't know if the restaurant would stay in business.

But last month, the owner's nephew and his wife bought the property.

They say everything on the menu is the same from the famous William Wesley Burger to dozens of ice cream flavors.

The only big change is that it's no longer "cash-only".

"Well it's always been cash-only, and you know, some people knew that others would come from out of the area," co-owner Jill Hornung said. "So we'd turn away a lot of customers just for the fact that we didn't take debit or credit cards."

This is the restaurant's 30th year in business in New Albany.
