LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Thunder Over Louisville features dozens of planes putting on a spectacular display. And many of those planes will be practicing over downtown and the Louisville riverfront from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.
Keith Kaiser gave us a look at some of the aircraft prepared to perform in the show. The show on Saturday, April 18th, set to start at 3pm, will feature military and civilian air acts. He got close to an F86, P51, T33 and C130.
The show includes an appearance by the U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds. The Air Force Team will send 2 jets for this year's show. The jets will not be able to perform the aerobatics of the Thunderbirds demonstration due to changes with the air box but they will be featured.
Also on tap for this year's show are the U.S. Army Golden Knights, performing two parachute demonstrations; the Kentucky Air National Guard returns with their C-130; as well as the U.S. Marines Harrier demonstration.
Other acts in this year's line-up include Team AeroDynamix - the world's largest air show team with 11 aircraft, as well as Trojan Horseman, Bill Leff Nightshow, among others.
