LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing several charges after police say he broke into a woman's home and raped her.

According to the arrest report it happened just before 5 a.m. on April 20. That's when police say 19-year-old Devante J. Watts forced his way into the victim's home armed with a gun. After demanding money from the victim, police say he forced her into the bathroom where he raped and orally sodomized her.

When officers arrived, Watts was still at the residence. He was found in a back bedroom and taken into custody. Police also found a gun and a baggy containing a substance believed to be cocaine.

Watts is now charged with rape, sodomy, burglary, robbery and possession of a controlled substance. He remains jailed on a $500,000 cash bond.
