LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The trial date is set for a Louisville hot dog vendor charged with murder.

Donald Hayes, age 67, is accused of fatally shooting 57-year-old Danny Wilson.

Attorneys for Hayes said today he is "immune from prosecution" because he was acting in self defense.

The shooting happened along Poplar Level Road last June. Investigators call it a road rage shooting.

Hayes' trial has been set for Nov. 10.

If convicted, Hayes could get life in prison.
