LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Floats, marching bands and lots of inflatables.

They all made their way down Broadway for the Republic Bank Pegasus Parade Thursday evening.

Thousands of people turned out for the 60th parade. It's one of the oldest derby festival events.

This year's theme was "Best of Louisville."

The grand marshal was former University of Louisville football player Teddy Bridgewater.

Kentucky Derby Festival officials estimated the attendance at about 185,000 people.

Over 10,000 votes were cast in the People's Choice online voting competition. FandomFest won the People's Choice Float Award and LG&E's “Louie the Lightning Bug” won the People's Choice Inflatable Award.
