LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jeffersonville Police will start training with new body cameras next week.

The goal is to have all the officers equipped with a body camera by May 11.

After that, they'll test and evaluate the cameras, which is expected to last about a month and a half.

Then the Jeffersonville Police Department will make any adjustments and additions to the police guidelines regarding the use of the body cameras, including whether they need to do more training.
