FEMA offering assistance to Louisville residents affected by April flooding

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- FEMA is offering assistance to Louisville residents affected by last month's severe storms and flooding.

Federal officials are encouraging anyone who registered a preliminary damage assessment to apply for assistance. Those who do register will be contacted by a FEMA representative for a housing assessment. Assistance ranges from grants for temporary housing, to home repairs, to low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses.
