LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man after they say hundreds of pounds of marijuana were found in his storage locker.

According to an arrest report, detectives executed a search warrant at Q-2 Self Storage, on Chamberlain Lane near the Gene Snyder Freeway.

Inside lockers A36 and A37, police say they found approximately 200-400 pounds of marijuana.

The lockers were being rented by 31-year-old Corey L. Waller, according to the arrest report.

Police say that, while they were there, Waller arrived, saw the police and tried to leave, but officers stopped him on Chamberlain Lane.

Waller admitted to having a handgun under the front seat of his vehicle, according to police. Police say there was an odor of marijuana inside the car, and they found a loaded handgun, marijuana and a large amount of money also inside.

Waller was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
