TARC asking public to weigh in on potential cuts to bus routes

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - TARC is asking for the public's opinion about possibly cutting service on three of its busiest routes.

Federal grant funding for the routes ended more than a year ago.

The company is proposing it cut back on service to save money, but that move will increase wait times.

Meetings about the issue are happening Wednesday morning at Louisville's Free Public Library Main and Shawnee branches.

Another meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Southwest Government Center on Dixie Highway.
