LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Bricks tumbled from a portion of a building facade on West Main Street Friday afternoon.

No one was hurt, but the fire department called for a building inspector to check on the safety of the structure.

The space behind the facade will soon be landscaped as the space will become a place for parties and other gatherings next month.

According to city officials, engineers have looked at the structure and next month's event on the property will not be impacted.

The bricks appeared to have fallen in the front and the back of the facade.

People in the area talked of hearing a rumble about 4:45 Friday afternoon.

It will be the second year of a project called "ReSurfaced."
