LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Grayson County Sheriff's Office was looking for a missing special needs woman Friday night.

Update:

Autumn Stepp has been located safely at a former relatives house in Tennessee.

Orginal Story:

Police say she was reported missing on Wednesday by her caretaker on Hardin Road in Leitchfield.

According to a press release, 48-year-old Autumn Stepp of Nashville walked away from her home in Grayson County at about 2 p.m. on May 12.

Sheriff's deputies were unable to locate the woman nearby and she has not returned to her residence.

Stepp is described as a white female, 5'11" and weighing 210 pounds. She has red hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a light blue short-sleeve shirt, blue shorts and teal/white flip flops.

She also has a scar above her left eye brow and a scar on her nose. Stepp has mental issues and takes medication for her condition, according to police. However, they say she left the residence on Hardin Road without her medicine, cell phone, purse, or ID card.

Police say Stepp may be hitchhiking and because of her special needs cannot safely take care of herself and may become violent without her medication.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the local police.
