LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A fire in the Parkland neighborhood this afternoon affected three buildings, including a church.

MetroSafe received the call of a home on fire just after 1 p.m. in the 2600 block of Grand Avenue.

Fire officials on scene say the fire started on home, spread to another, and briefly spread to an adjacent church, but only burning some siding before being extinguished.

Two people lived in the home initially engulfed, but they got out safely. The second home affected was vacant.
