LACETT | Bats stay hot

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – The Louisville Bats keep on rolling. 

Louisville defeated the Pawtucket Red Sox 5-4 Sunday afternoon at Slugger Field. The win puts the Bats at 22-22. It is the first time they've reached a .500 record since April 22nd. 

The Bats took three of four from Pawtucket. Overall, they have won nine of their last 11 games. 

David Holmberg (3-3 W) pitched six and two thirds innings. He gave up five hits, one earned run, one walk, and six strike outs to earn his third win.

Louisville opens up a three game series at home against Toledo Monday.
