LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a dispute between two women led to gunfire on a busy downtown street earlier this month.

According to the arrest warrant, it happened on May 1. That's when police say 24-year-old Talisha Johnson started following the victim in her car as the victim was leaving her boyfriend's home.

Police say the victim knows Johnson because Johnson and the victim's boyfriend have a child together.

Police say Johnson and the victim were traveling northbound on Second Street when Johnson pulled up alongside the victim's vehicle and fired a shot. According to the arrest warrant, the bullet entered the victim's rear window on the driver's side and exited through the rear passenger window.

A witness heard a gunshot and looked up to see a person matching Johnson's description pulling through a parking lot and driving away, according to police.

The victim was not injured.

Johnson was arrested on May 29 and charged with one count of wanton endangerment. She remains jailed at Louisville Metro Corrections.
