LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – The Indiana Hoosiers came into the NCAA tournament playing their best baseball of the season. It appears they are not about to let up anytime soon.

IU began its run to Omaha with a convincing 7-1 victory over Radford in the first game of the Nashville Regional Friday.  The Hoosiers have now won 12 of their last 15 games.

Kyle Hart picked up the win to stay unbeaten at 5-0 this season. In his longest outing of the season, he allowed one unearned run and struck out six in 7 innings.

Indiana was clicking on all cylinders. The Hoosiers offense scattered 13 hits and the defense even recorded a triple play to end the first.

IU faces the Vanderbilt-Lipscomb winner on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 8:00pm.
