LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Karim Handfield is a guest speaker for Behind the Walls, and Saturday he showed off his skills at Louisville Metro Corrections.

Behind the Walls is a prison ministry, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Handfield says he loves sharing his story and inspiring those behind bars to make a positive change in their own lives.

"It feels awesome to hear a young man walk up to me and say hey, 'I saw you two years, three years ago and there's my dad and I'm in college now, and I just want to tell you something you said to me years ago made a difference,'" Handfield said.

"To me, I can't even put a price tag on something like that."

Behind the Walls prison ministry is based in Dallas.

It was started by Bill Glass, who spent 11 years in the NFL playing for the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns.
