MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WDRB) -- Dale Vanvuren is re-thinking his living situation after a shocking find in his own backyard.

Vanvuren was trying to plant a garden when he noticed a large rock in the ground. That rock turned out to be a 52-year old marble tombstone.

"They just need to be put somewhere where people know the man was here, lived and somebody loved him," said Ed Springer, a nearby neighbor.

Neighbors say Vanvuren's house has been on the lot of land for 20 years. Vanvuren has only lived there for six months.

Officials are working to make sure there are no other disturbing finds by using sonar equipment.
