LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Dozens of people hopped on their motorcycles to participate in the Poker Run, helping kids with cancer get the chance to be kids again.

Money raised during the event benefits Camp Quality Kentuckiana.

The non-profit organization serves families who have children battling cancer.

The Haycraft family, who lost their daughter Lydia to cancer says Camp Quality meant the world to her.

"Lydia loved camp quality. She loved it. It was her week where she got to be -- she wasn't the different child. She was normal, but everybody was like her. She wasn't the special child or somebody that had to be taken care of. She could go and play," Lydia's mom Ashley Haycraft said.

In addition to the poker run, there was also live music and an auction.

The fundraiser allows children with cancer to go to camp for free.
