Fans want money back after incomplete R&B concert at KFC Yum! Center

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WRDB) -- The show did not go as planned during a local R&B concert Saturday night and now many people want their money back.

The KFC Yum! Center hosted the Urban Expo Music Fest on Saturday, which was supposed to feature The Isley Brothers, Johnny Gill, Kelly Price and Tom Browne.

But some acts were delayed, shortened and even cancelled because some musicians say they "weren't paid in full."

The concert left many in the audience confused and angry.

"I'm not really sure who to blame," concert-goer Kish Cumi said. "I believe it's a collaboration between the YUM! Center and the promoters. I think it was poor customer service not to at least give us an explanation and to tell us how we can get our refunds. You expect to get the product that you paid for."

A spokesperson from the KFC Yum! Center responded saying "Due to factors beyond the KFC Yum! Center's control, the fest experienced performance delays that impacted our guests' experience. We are always striving to provide the best live entertainment experience possible and we apologize that certain factors prevented us from being able to exceed our guests' expectations."

We reached out to the event promoters, but they did not get back to us by the time of this posting.
