Former GM of Village Anchor Pub accused of stealing thousands

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The former general manager of The Village Anchor Pub in east Louisville is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the business. 

Larry Watson pleaded not guilty to theft charges in court Monday.

Prosecutors say he stole more than $10,000 between August of 2012 and March of this year.

The Village Anchor owner tells WDRB "it was an unfortunate incident and we're focused on moving forward."

The Anchorage Police Department is still investigating.
