LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they have arrested a man who stole money from a blind woman in an assisted living apartment.

According to an arrest citation, it happened between May 1 and June 16 at the Twinbrook Hotel Apartments on Ephraim McDowell Drive, near Bowman Field.

Police say 59-year-old Steve Neblett was a maintenance man at the assisted living facility. According to the arrest citation, Neblett "unlawfully entered" the apartment of a blind resident three different times and took cash from her purse.

Neblett's actions were eventually captured on surveillance video, according to police, and he allegedly gave officers a recorded statement.

Neblett was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with three counts of second degree burglary.
