LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police have arrested a Louisville man after authorities say he downloaded multiple images of children being sexually exploited onto his computer.

Joseph Sanchez, 41, was arrested Tuesday evening at his home in the 100 block of North 19th Street, near West Main Street, following a police search.

State police say they downloaded "four files of known child sexual exploitation" from Sanchez during an investigation.

Investigators say forensic analysts located at least three files of "child sexual exploitation" on Sanchez's computer during the search at his home.

Sanchez is charged with distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor and possession or viewing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.

He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
