LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) - Louisville Metro Police homicide detectives are investigating the city's third murder this week.

Police say the victim was shot and killed early Thursday morning behind the Indi's restaurant in at 10th and Broadway in downtown Louisville.

According to Deputy Coroner Rita Taylor, the victim was 29-year-old Antwon Willis. He lived in the 4500 block of Cane Run Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple gunshot wounds.

"It was a few years ago that there was another homicide in this area," Mitchell said. "Obviously, every time that we have one in our city it's obviously very sad for the victim's family and our community. Another senseless murder that's happened."

Investigators say they have no suspects at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call the LMPD crime tipline at 502-574-LMPD (574-5673). Callers can remain anonymous.

This is the third murder in less than a week in Metro Louisville. Monday morning a man was found in an alley near 20th and Pirtle Streets and a man in the Shawnee neighborhood was shot and killed after an argument on Tuesday.
