LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville woman is recovering after she was run over by three suspects who snatched her purse.

According to the arrest warrant, on March 27, the victim was talking to 18-year-old Trista Redmon, who was a passenger in a parked car driven by 19-year-old Teresa Williard. A third unknown accomplice, a bi-racial male, was in the back seat.

Police say the victim was standing outside the passenger door, talking to Redmon, when Redmon suddenly grabbed the victim's purse. Police say Redmon was "striking the victim in the face with her fist."

According to police, the man in the back seat told Williard to drive away. Williard drove off and "the victim was trying to hang on but fell off. When the victim fell, the car ran over both the victim's feet."

The victim was taken to the hospital where she was treated for a broken leg and injuries to both feet. Police say she is still being treated for her injuries and may need surgery to repair damage to her leg.

Police say the victim knew both women and was able to identify them to police.

Williard and Redmon were arrested on June 18.

Williard is charged with one count of robbery; Redmon is charged with one count of robbery, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
