LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The goal of a Community Forum in Old Louisville tonight was to look at some of the issues leading up to the police shooting.

Panelists and those who attended discussed everything homelessness to mental illness and interactions with officers.

Councilman David James hosted the discussion and said he thought it was productive.

"I want people to have a sense of community and ownership so when they are sharing their thoughts with one another, that helps enforce that," councilman David James (D-District 6) said.

The forum was held at the 4th Avenue United Methodist Church.
