LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --  Louisville Metro Police say a suspect was arrested after she tried to hit a woman with her vehicle, but ended up driving into a building instead.

According to an arrest citation, police were called to Hikes Lane, near Klondike Lane, on a report of a fight involving multiple people and a vehicle hitting a building.

When officers arrived, they determined that 21-year-old Shyla L. Moore tried to hit a man with a vehicle and instead struck a building.

Witnesses allegedly said there was an argument involving Moore's mother, and Moore drove the vehicle in the direction of the female victim, "narrowly missing her."

Police say Moore, "intentionally attempted to cause serious physical injury" to the victim, and "exercised extreme indifference to the value of human life."

People were inside the building when it was hit, and the vehicle partially penetrated the building, causing more than $1,000 worth of damage.

Moore was arrested and charged with first degree assault, two counts of first degree wanton endangerment and one count of criminal mischief.
