New restaurants, multi-million dollar upgrade planned for Fourth Street Live

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Multiple restaurants and several million dollars in renovations are planned for Fourth Street Live.

According to a news release, Fourth Street Live will receive $12 million in improvements before next Spring.

Four new restaurants are part of the planned improvements.

Two of the new businesses will replace Maker's Mark Bourbon House, which closed for business on Saturday, and Sully's Restaurant and & Saloon, which is scheduled to close in September.

An unnamed bourbon bar is expected to replace Maker's Mark Bourbon House. A gastropub is expected to replace Sully's Restaurant & Saloon.

A third restaurant is said to a be farm-to-table concept and will replace the Ri Ra Irish Pub, which closed in September 2013.

A restaurant specializing in Southern cuisine will replace The Pub Restaurant, which closed in November 2012 after a dispute with Fourth Street Live owner The Cordish Cos.
