LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- High above duPont Manual High School, work to repair damage from a lightning strike was taking place Monday afternoon.

Workers could be seen on a crane replacing one of the decorative spires on a tower.

The entryway tower was hit by lightning last July during a thunderstorm. It caused concrete to fall and left a five-foot-square hole in the roof.

Classrooms were damaged, but no one was injured.
